Mini Quackers? No, I’m not talking about baby ducks. I’m talking about my favorite new tool for machine quilting:
I do not like using gloves for machine quilting! They are too hot, and make it clumsy to perform other tasks without taking them off-on-off-on-off. So when I found Mini Quackers at the Minnesota Quilters Show, I decided to give them a try.
To use them, all you have to do is hold them on top of your quilt while stitching. I found that they do not need much pressure at all, did not interfere with my movements, and were very effective in keeping the right amount of tension for free motion quilting. These are great!
Find them on the web for $14.95 at Pennywinkle Valley Ranch.
