Folded Corner Clipper: Flying Geese Block

For the next Folded Corner Clipper demo, let’s look at how to make Flying Geese blocks. First, cut your squares and rectangle.  For this example, we want a 3″x6″ finished Flying Geese, so we need one 3.5″ x 6.5″ rectangle, and two 3.5″ squares (for the corners).  Begin with the rectangle  and one square:

And we didn’t have to draw any pencil lines!

Now you can make your trimmed corners into Half-Square-Triangles:
